To launch Ualá’s dollar account, we needed people to see it as the safest and easiest way to buy and sell dollars. But in Argentina, dollars have historically lived underground, exchanged in illegal spots known as cuevas (“caves”).
With a tiny budget, we found the perfect spokesperson: a bear, announcing that even he didn’t need to stay inside the cave anymore now that there was a simpler, legal way.
